Maybe She Never Needed Maybeline?

Her way is the highway

As we know birth causes amensia, in the same way the born idenity is the one we will always vibrate with. Let’s rock out w/ the a harvest of beautiful bounty!

What would the beauty industry be without imposed beauty standards? How would the gworls view themselves? And can we talk about the direction the mainstream beauty standards have gone in recent years of social media based propaganda.. The influence of beauty is no longer covert and we know very well now the who covets the trends, opulence and butterfly effect when it comes to hawt girls, guys and gays. It is us black people of culture and rhythm who ignite the inspiration of pop culture. We are what’s popular and there’s been so many think pieces surrounding the science of it I won’t go there here, so I digress. My main point of this entry is to signify the natural aspects of beauty which have been so exaggerated to the extent the line of guru and muse has gotten blurry even for us.

Beauty has so many meanings and takes fine ass forms of countless array. I am all here for however you indulge in the practice of physical alchemy. Nonetheless I do ask we consider some of the lewks and aesthetics being sold to us. For it is all derivatives of the black woman as it has always been. So before we get hypnotized by full blown Glamazons and all of their charms, we should remain privy to the fact these industries love stealing our shit, and selling it right back to us. For this reason confidence has become a contest of who’s invested more into their body. Confidence is an ever evolving mechanism of being, so invest in yourself you shall! Hardwork, health and money can manifest in the physical realm in more than just pentacles. So feel like the money bag you are, as currency is of us and you will be sure to look like it. The outer appearance always reflects the inner therefore a strong spirit, healthy mind and active body is good foundation for inner-beauty.

With the influx of overly done up beauty queens who caricaturize their african assets, or simply refine what needs a fine tuning Very Kinky Girls realize we have coined the beauty/fashion industry and will always hold a monopoly over the styles and trends, Its in our nature to beautify ourselves and its our birthright to improve what we don’t like. Our creativity is not to be defined by our ability to fit in, but to stand out. So before you go questioning your features, relax in them first. Get your chemical peel and lashes, and veneers, but do know this black girl, you will forever be thee mona lisa of the world.
